"Kodak Moment". A phrase rarely heard today. Do you remember?
Close your eyes and let the words wash over you for a moment. simple words, yet words with the uncanny ability to capture a feeling, a precious instant in time so meaningful as to be considered worthy of being preserved on film for posterity. A concept almost unfathomable today, with many unaware of what film is, let alone of having to wait for it to be developed.
Today's digital photographs are easily numbered in the thousands and are instantly available at the touch of a screen. They would be considered a modern day miracle of sorts to those of yesteryear. Yet those old, worn photo albums, the ones we thumb through at grandma's house, filled with images no doubt inferior to the perfection demanded by today's standards, are the very definition of a "Kodak Moment". More than the image itself, Kodak moments were about the people, places, and times they captured, alongside a generous portion of patience, and a kind of reverence held for memories.
"So, capture moments while you may, collect the dreams you dream today, remember the times of your life".
