what drives our push to burden children with the problems of the world? doing so may be a way of easing society's collective conscience, or to reinforce a political or religious belief. It may be well intended, then again it may not.
The likelihood of emotional issues harming those not yet equipped to properly process such information seems a high price to pay.
Let children be children. Let's stop burdening them with adult issues.
