Original Sin, With a Side of Guilt

"Original Sin"  What a concept, and an ideal way to impose guilt from the get-go.  Instilling culpability for an action of which one had no part seems to be emotional abuse at best.  Even more so when it cannot be questioned and there is no real opt out.

It seems that once you "see" something, it becomes easy to recognize similar characteristics in other things as well.  I recognized an example of this concept recently within the BLM movement.  Claims that individuals are racist due to circumstances happening centuries ago, and of which people living today had no part filled the streets.  This seemed all too familiar, and it just felt completely wrong.

What they are calling "social justice" has become nothing more than a "religion" to many, complete with its own version of original sin, served up alongside a big helping of white guilt.  I was shocked to see individuals on their knees, with demands that they confess to crimes never committed, with assurances that doing so would be in their best interest.

some things never change.  They are simply re-packaged.
